Hey There
Welcome to The House of Yesterday, your number one source for all things preloved and vintage.
Founded in 2020 by Frankie and James Moyes, The House of Yesterday has come a long way from its humble origins of selling to friends and family. In fact, it's the encouragement received from friends and family that finally made us realise that running our own business was not 'pie in the sky'.
We hope you enjoy our little shop just as much as we do. If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Frankie

All About Us
Both James and I love everything vintage - be it clothes, items we've bought from various antiques shops or something that James has made with his own fair hands.
One thing that makes us quite unique is that some of the clothes we have collected over the years are made for giants - but that's only because we're both over 6'2" - so be prepared for some very long trousers!
I've moved from job to job over the years, trying to find my place in the world but nothing rocked my boat; until that is, I met James. We realised we shared a passion for all things classic and vintage; and so our journey of collecting all things beautiful, weird, unique and vintage began. Our house is full of them! So here I am, with an abundance of preloved clothes. Yes, some of them are my own so be prepared for extra-long trousers, dresses, and tops. Don't despair, I have an abundance of standard size clothing too.
Oh, and due to being married to a 'Greek God' (his words!) I also have preloved clothing for those 'tall' men in your life.
The Greek God.....aka, James is the 7th and last child of the Moyes clan. I don't think the 'hand me down' uniforms from his sisters affected him too much. He spent most of his young life watching his father mend and repair, like most of us, I guess. His love for creating vintage things has never dwindled and he now creates some fabulous gems. I love everything he does, our house is full of 'Jimmed' things. However, I'm not greedy, I'm quite happy to share.
